As a state-licensed mold assessor, mold remediator, building contractor, and insurance adjuster, Dr. Gary Rosen offers unparalleled experience and expertise with his 20+ years of industry leadership and extensive expert witness services.
Dr. Rosen has published 7 books and 20 industry research papers. He created the State of Florida-approved Mold Assessor and Mold Remediator Education and Exam Licensing Program for the National Association of Environmentally Responsible Mold Contractors. As a Florida Licensed Mold Assessor, Mold Remediator, and Insurance Adjuster, Linda Rosen co-wrote and co-developed much of CMF’s mold assessment and remediation procedures. Applying her experience and proficient writing skills, Linda edits all CMF content—including books, pamphlets, website, educational materials, and collateral to ensure accuracy and value to clients.
Linda is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in English Literature. Prior to co-founding Certified Mold Free, Linda and Dr. Rosen co-founded a technology company to develop software for writing in non-Latin scripts, which was licensed to the U.S. Information Agency for use by Voice of America.

Our History
In 2000, Dr. Gary Rosen had moved back to his home state of Florida after 20 years in California. His young daughter got very sick soon after from what turned out to be a mold problem in her school.
After about a year of investigation with a series of medical doctors who could not find any other cause, it was determined that her health problems were caused by the school’s air quality environment.
To help his daughter, Dr. Rosen (a PhD Biochemist) proceeded to learn about mold, health and construction-related problems, over the years becoming an expert on fixing homes and offices for the mold-sensitive.
